CULTURE NIGHT AT OUR LADY OF GRACE (OLAG) HIGH SCHOOL

In June 2025, Aware International successfully organized a vibrant Cultural Night in collaboration with Our Lady of Grace Senior High School (OLAG), located in Mamponteng, Ashanti Region.

As part of the event, Aware International’s dedicated team trained 15 contestants of the prestigious Face of OLAG pageant. The training focused on the history, ethics, and values of various Ghanaian cultures, allowing each participant to explore a tradition of their choice. Through storytelling, dramatization, and cultural expression, students gained deeper appreciation and understanding of Ghana’s rich heritage.

The culmination of this intensive training was the Cultural Night Grand Performance, held on Saturday, 21st June 2025. The evening was a colorful showcase of Ghana’s diverse traditions — from royal regalia and ceremonial drumming to folklore dramatizations and moral parables. The event was graced by the presence of traditional chiefs, who lent their support and added prestige to the occasion.

The Cultural Night was not only a celebration of culture, but also a platform for youth empowerment through heritage education, aligning with Aware International’s mission to nurture socially aware and culturally grounded young leaders.

Below are some highlights from the event in pictures
